Possible bug with QDNS admin and loggingFrom: Scott Haneda Date: Wednesday, October 27, 2004
Time: 1:03:10 amThis was dirving me insane and I think I finally figured it out.
Note the size of my log:
-rw-r--r-- 1 root wheel 35K 27 Oct 00:59 quickdns.log
Now, if I go into QDNS admin and change for example either the Query
Restrictions and click OK or the Transfer restrictions and click OK, now
take a look at the log size:
-rw-r--r-- 1 root wheel 4K 27 Oct 01:00 quickdns.log
It also seems to happen under some cases when you edit the logging options
as well, ie: toggle the "resolver" checkbox or any others.
I am not sure where the clearing out of the log happens, but it does, any
workarounds that someone can suggest?
