If you're seeing logging categories in the logging file that belong to BIND 8 only, then most likely QuickDNS Remote doesn't know what version of BIND you're using. Add the following line to /var/named/qdns/preferences.cfg: <BINDVersion value="9"> Then restart QuickDNS Remote.
