As you probably know, if you have an Enterprise license for QuickDNS
you can use the command line to create zones for you and it is easy to
script the command line. The syntax for the command is:
addZone <zonename> <server> [<slave 1> <slave 2> ...]

If you don't have the Enterprise license you obviously have to modify
the configuration file(s) on the master _and_ slave servers and send
them the appropriate rndc command afterwards. It is generally faster
to send a "rndc reconfig" than a reload since it will only load new
zones. When you create a new zone on the master server it will send a
notify to all listed slave servers.

Hope this helps,
Sigfus
