Re: BIND updatesFrom: Jody McAlister Date: Friday, January 28, 2005
Time: 12:02:07 pmI have the developer tools installed on mac os x 10.3.7, but get this
error when trying to follow the directions.
configure: error: need either unistd.h or sys/select.h
I got this last time, but you guys provided a binary for me to install
that worked instead. I should probably get this fixed and I just
googled for the fix and they said to reinstall the dev components from
apple's site and reinstall.
My concern is that I'm running radius and mail servers on the two dns
servers as well. I'd hate to break something there trying to get a
beta dns installed.
I don't know if you want to bother creating something for a beta like
you did when the mac os x problem first appeared, but I'd be willing to
install it and test it out and give feedback if I encounter any
problems.
I'd install it on my test server, then if good, the secondary dns and
less busy mail server, and if all good, then the main dns server.
