Search Again: using Optigold across a WAN...? From: Matthew Lemsing Date: Wednesday, June 2, 1999 Time: 5:48:00 pm hi there. we currently have 2 offices and have staff wanting to use optigod in those 2 offices. Currently we have a 256k ISDN link between the 2 offices, and so I am absically wanting to know if we can run O/G acroos the wire? Does O/G use ODBC or does it directly open each of the files...? Basically i want to be sure that runnnig it across an ISDN link isnt going to give database corruption errors if and when the link goes down... anyone doing or done this, or know f a better way to provide access to O/G across multiple offices..? btw - the offices are in Sydney and Parramatta so the distance isnt too long... etc any help on this would be great.
