Re: Getting ODBC Preview working with OptiGoldFrom: Jeremy Domingue Date: Thursday, June 3, 1999
Time: 8:50:58 pmAh, okay, that's what I was missing. I didn't think of trying to log in as
the web user (I was logged in as the admin the whole time).
Just to let you know, that did share the MainMenu.USR okay, BUT; when I try
to run a query on the file it pops up a dialog asking for a password, and I
assume that's probably a password integrated into the file that only you
have access to for development purposes(?).
Anyway, I feel like I'm pretty much stuck now, so if you ever do get a
chance to look at it.... *grin*
Thanks for the help thus far =:-)~

1. Make sure you have an employee that is set to a "Web Server".
2. Log in as that employee... You will be taken to the web interface
screen automatically (totally different than the setup).
3. At the top of that screen there is a purple button labeled "Main
Sharing Prefs".
4. Click it.
