Credits on Accounts

Hi Shawn. I have three questions.
1. Is it not possible to edit an invoice in order to add an item? Do I
have to click new invoice, add the old one to it, add the new itme to it,
and then delete the first one?
2. I have a situation where a customer would like to trade with me. How do
I apply $500.00 to their account without it being a check/cash/MC "type"
payment, but just credit with some sort of description maybe?
3. Why do I have current customers with expiration dates of May and June?
I seem to remember you telling me not to change the dates manually.
