You can get one from thawt - BUT: 1 certificate is for 1 website. You
can't get a cert for www.yourdomain.com

and use it on:

www.theirdomain.com

The certificate isn't registered for that site. The whole purpose of the
security certificates is to protect the potential buyer, so that they know
that somewhere on file there is documentation about the company they are
ordering from. Now, there are places that have all of their customer
websites refer to their main website when it came to the ssl portion.

ie: a person going to www.theirdomain.com is ready to check out. when they
click on the orderform, they end up going to
https://www.yourdomain.com/theirdom/order.html or something similar.
