Terms of Service for the Ad Network

Return To Ad Network Main Page

It's your responsibility to read these terms of service and keep up to date with them.

  • All ads are reviewed by a human before they are in the rotation on the ad server, so please save everyone's time and read the ad guidelines before creating any ads.

  • Co-op ad network ads should be the exclusive ad network used for that site. This means those sites are not able to utilize a similar advertising network (Google AdSense and other contextual ads are not considered similar). The main reason for this is to prevent users from overloading their own sites with ads and diminishing the overall quality of the sites in the ad network.

  • Do not buy, sell or rent "weight".

  • Do not spam people with your referral link about the ad network (all your accounts will be suspended).

  • Use common sense, don't do things like:
    • Automatically generate pages of content just to have them. Design pages for end users, not search engines.
    • Cloaking
    • Hiding ads (using layers, text color, font size or anything else along those lines). Ads need to be clearly visible to the end user.

  • Bring quality sites to the ad network. I know this is vague, but basically means we have the right to reject any site from the ad network for whatever reason.

Not abiding by these simple rules will result in your site(s) being banned from the co-op ad network. A permanent ban for blatant abusers (cloakers, hidden ads, etc.) will also be used. You can also get your site banned by doing sneaky things to your users (for example drive-by installations).
