Just keep building backlinks and adding new content and wait for google to settle down for some reason a lot of people have been seeing this sort...
I don't notice that any particular day of the week is worse for me consistently every day is different and I haven't noticed any trends.

You will have a lot of fluctuation in rank with google for a while there ranks are unstable for the first three or four weeks then the rank starts...
