I think the revenue would go to your account, but using the ad slot of the other account... so maybe it would work like the old-style AdSense...
AdSense is a contextual ad network, and as such, it will use the contents (all of them!) of the page & site to match to the appropriate ads.

Yahoo works very similar to Google. But it is slower to index your site.
In mi experience, if GoogleBot is active in the site, then a few hours should do. 2 days at most.
