I would defo look into Email Marketing especially for the deals website, having a list and then sending weekly deals etc..
Throw in a opt-in form on your site and get all this traffic into an email list

I use IE 11 and Chrome, IE has improved a lot and works fine 90% of the time but I find it has issues with Youtube so will still use chrome for that.
