Illegal immigration can be a highly profitable endeavor for many U.S. employers as well as the United States government. Additionally, because Mexico is the largest source of undocumented workers entering the U.S. at present, they continue to profit handsomely as well.

These poverty-stricken immigrants, usually desperate to feed and house their families, are enticed by the promise of cash from greedy American employers looking to maximize their profits. Moreover, add to this the offer of government programs, which some believe are designed to encourage illegal immigration, and it becomes clear that the United States government will not pass legislation that will effectively end the influx of illegal immigrants anytime soon.
