    Bing is going to be updating the Bing Webmaster Guidelines and as part of that process, Frédéric Dubut from the Bing spam team asked what "shady tactics you think are not penalized enough?" In general, he is taking feedback on the current document before he begins.

    If you try to access the Google Quality Raters Guidelines PDF document, you will be out of luck. The PDF seems to have been removed from Google's servers. This happened before and when that happened it was a mistake, Google fixed it. This time, I suspect it is almost a mistake and Google will fix it.

    What a wild several days with Google updates - we had fluctuations on July 11, 12 and 16th and then some massive chatter and Google search result fluctuations on July 18th or so. Google would not confirm or deny these updates, so it was named by the community the Google Maverick Update.
