      I don't use Askimet. I use wp_spamfree plugin then set in the Settings Panel under Discussion to Moderated comments and user must register. www.hybrid6.com/webgeek/plugins/wp-spamfree It's also on WP in the Plugins Section but buried. A lot of really good plugins are not that popular. Askimet is part of the install so people use it.

      One great feature of this plugin is it will create a spam blocking contact form by pasting in a little piece of code on any page you create.

      People who really want to comment still will register. Yes I'd like to let comments be open to anyone who wants to post. But sadly I don't have the time to moderate all the morons.
