I am working towards creating a tutorial site that will be aimed directly towards people who are looking to get into pixel art for video game creation, most likely indie developers. No matter what engine you use the tutorials will provide you with enough information on how to get started creating your own tilesheets and character sprites as well as other various things related to pixel art.

The site will most likely also contain resources and such too!

Once the site has a reasonable amount of content I may spend less time on the tutorial creation (but continue to release content) and a little more time on a small Xbox Live Indie Arcade game over the span of two to three months.

I have tried to work with people from around the internet, ideally programmers. On a small indie game project here and there but nothing ever seems to see the light of day and it has been in my personal time so instead of letting myself get behind I will try and help programmers that are having a hard time finding an artist, learn the basics behind pixel art and then some so that they can get creating their own art as well as those artists out there that are wanting to get into pixel art, instead of wasting my time on people that are not genuine or just don't know what they want to do. This way I can have fun creating pixel art and share what I know.

I am by no means a programmer but I have been reading up on XNA and c# as well as an engine named FlatRedBall and with that you're required to have limited programming knowledge and still able to release a game with their Glue system so I will be utilizing this when creating my own small project for the XBLIA. Just so you know... If you're at all interested =]

My tutorial site will be the fore most important project in my mind right now though, but I do have plans to develop something for the indie arcade at some point and who knows I may even be able to find someone reliable through creating this site too so that would be a bonus.
