    The unexpected death of music legend Prince has shocked so many around the world. Google has recognized his passing with a special purple rain “doodle,” as Google’s special logos are called.

    The doodle changes the colors of the Google logo to purple and is animated to look as if purple rain is falling, a tribute to Prince’s famous song.

    Clicking on the logo brings up Google results for “Prince Music” and shows a listing of his music:
