SEOs Bracing Themselves For Another Google Core Update
"Is it just me or have things been a little too quiet recently," said on SEO at WebmasterWorld. That is the feeling recently since we saw a couple search ranking (or indexing) bugs a couple of weeks ago and it has been 3 months and 22 days since the last core update, the Google May 2020 Core update was on May 4th.

August 15th - Another Possible Big Google Search Algorithm & Ranking Update
Super rare that I come on, on a Saturday night, and write something here. But I turned up the computer after Shabbat ended and I see the SEO community is buzzing in a big way about some significant changes to the Google search results today. This is not as big as that bug from last Monday but it does seem very big.

That Massive Google Update Was Glitch & Bug - Search Results Back To Normal
Yesterday afternoon I reported on one of the biggest Google updates we have seen in a long time. It was so big and the results were so all over the place, many suspected it was a bug. And a bug it was. A Google spokesperson confirmed with me over email last night " I confirmed with the team that this is a bug that we are fixing but still in the process of fully diagnosing, so we don't have specific details to share right now."
Big Google Search Update Rolling Out Now - August 10th
It looks like there is a big Google search ranking algorithm rolling out now, on August 10th. This is not a confirmed update by Google, at least not yet. But the chatter since 2pm ET today has been really high within the SEO community. The rank checking tools have not yet updated, but I suspect the tools will show something tomorrow.

I am seeing signals of yet another Google search ranking algorithm update. There is a lot of new chatter from within the SEO community starting yesterday August 6th through today August 7th about ranking changes. Some of the tools are showing higher than normal fluctuations as well this morning.

Google Ranking Update & Fluctuations July 31st & August 1st
Seems like since Friday and throughout the weekend there may have been some update pushed out by Google to its search ranking algorithm. There is chatter and there are third-party tracking tools that seem to suggest there was some sort of update. Google has not confirmed any update, so this would be Google updating as normal to them.
