The time has come - Google has finally released another broad core update - this one is named the June 2021 Core Update. This update started rolling out yesterday, June 2, 2021 and it came just about six months after the last core update, which was the December 2020 core update. So far, this update doesn't seem to have made a big impact - so far.

Google published its Google News transparency policy listing its principles behind these policies. Google said these policies help determine what is eligible to appear on Google News and other News surfaces, and they help ensure that Google is elevating content from trusted, authoritative sources.

There is yet another Google search algorithm ranking update that seems to be going on - it touched down yesterday, Saturday May 22nd. The tracking tools are off the charts, all of them, showing changes in the Google Search results that I have not seen before in a long time. This is at the levels of a core update or the old Penguin and Panda updates.

There is again significant chatter within the SEO forums and signs from the automated tracking tools of yet another Google Search update. We've seen unconfirmed weekend updates from Google week after week for the past few months now and we saw a surprise unconfirmed update mid-week, this past week. And now we are seeing yet another weekend update.

I am seeing early signs and signals of a possible Google Search ranking algorithm update going on right now. It seems to have kicked off this morning and is now spiking in terms of chatter in the SEO forums and also some of the tools have picked up on it (not all are updated yet). Google has not confirmed any update, so this is one of those unconfirmed updates.

I am seeing an increase in chatter amongst the SEO industry around a possible Google search ranking algorithm update around Friday, May 7th and then again on Sunday, May 9th. Even some of the tools are showing the changes as well. But it doesn't seem to be a massive update, like some previous Google updates.
