Google Search Ranking Algorithm Update Signals On Wednesday
Over the past 24-hours or so, maybe piggy backing off the weekend update or maybe a tremor to a previous core update or maybe both, Google seems to be doing another ranking and algorithm update. The chatter is not massive but there are 100% folks noticing an update.
A Google Search Algorithm Update Rolling Out?
There are some signs of a Google search ranking algorithm update rolling out since over the weekend. It is early and I cannot check on it this Monday and Tuesday because I am offline, but this Saturday night and Sunday looks like a possible update.

Google's New Snippet Controls Rolling Out In A Few Days With Changes To Google France
Google has given us a heads up that the new snippet controls it announced a few weeks ago will begin rolling out "in a few days" and "be fully live worldwide by next week." This coincides with the European press publications changes in France, where Google cannot show snippets, which "will be fully live by October 24."
Google: We Do Not Have An EAT Score
Google's Gary Illyes cleared up one thing that SEOs have been possibly confused about for some time. There is not single score for EAT. There is not EAT score. EAT is not a real thing at Google. EAT is made up of many many algorithms, baby algorithms, that are made up of in the Google core algorithm.
Google: Content Accuracy Is A Ranking Factor
Gary Illyes from Google said on stage at PubCon that he would consider content accuracy a ranking factor. He said because of YMYL, he would consider the accuracy of content a ranking factor. This comes a month after Danny Sullivan from Google said Google cannot determine the accuracy of content.

Bing To Make BingBot Evergreen
Bing announced yesterday that BingBot is going evergreen, just like GoogleBot did. Bing said this will happen over the next few months and the user agent for BingBot might change but most sites don't need to do anything or worry about anything with this change.
Google: Renting Specialist Or Expert Names Does Not Help With EAT
Google's John Mueller has said that it is best to have an expert write or review your content for the YMYL (your money, your life) types of categories of web sites. In fact, John Mueller went as far to say that when a doctor reviews your content, you might want to label that content as been reviewed and by whom. But Danny Sullivan implied that renting these people's names won't necessarily help.
