Bing: Optimize For AI Search By Following SEO Guidelines
Fabrice Canel, long time Microsoft employee and the Bing Search Product Manager, said the way you optimize for AI Search is by following SEO guidelines. He echoed Google's statement that doing normal SEO works for AI Search.

Google Merchant Knowledge Panel Deals Section Update
Google has replaced the promotions section in the merchant local knowledge panel with a deals section. There are still clipable coupons but it is renamed "Deals" instead of it saying "Promotions." There is also a new green percentage icon next to each deal.
Google Shopping Tests New Sort By Button Filter
Google is testing a sort by button filter at the top right of the Google Shopping interface. This is instead of Google putting the sort by on the left-hand bar, with all the other filters.

Google Ads Ad Group Settings For Al Max
Google has a new beta within Google Ads for Al Max ad group settings with search term matching. This shows when AI Max is turned on and Google wrote in the setting, "Turning off search term matching will use only your provided keywords and match types, which will limit the performance boost of Al Max."
Google Shopping Tests Clickable Submenus Categories
Google is testing a clickable version of the sub-menu within Google Shopping, next to the G super logo we spotted before. This menu is below the other menu and lets you filter down by product sub-category.
Microsoft Bing Advertising Revenue Up 21% Yet Again
Microsoft reported its fourth quarter 2025 earnings and it showed that its search and advertising revenue was up for the third time in a row by 21%. The previous two quarters it was up 21% as well, then the quarter before that was up 18%, then 19% but before that it was 12% and 8%.
